Compact Filter

A Compact Filter is an energy-free solution for treating wastewater from homes .

How It Works

Our compact filtration systems use a series of filters to treat wastewater:

  1. Pre-treatment: The first chamber collects the waste water , filters the solids and create an anaerobic environment that starts breaking down the solution .

  2. Aerobic digestion , filtration : Pre-treated water is distributed torough a porous media that traps and remove contaminants ,the natural ventilation creates an aerobic treatment of the water and extract odors. The clean water can be released underground or re-used for irrigation or other purposes .

Advantages

  • Space-Saving: Ideal for properties with limited space.

  • Energy free: No power needed for the treatment .

  • Easy Maintenance: Designed for straightforward maintenance and operation.

  • Renovation : can be added to existing septic tank .

  • Ideal for short term rentals : stays operational even after long unoccupied periods .

Comparison with Other Systems

  • Versus Micro Sewage Treatment Plants: Compact filters are performant and operate without power, while VFL treatment plants need electricity but handles bigger projects .

  • Versus Septic Tanks with Leach Fields: Compact filters required less space , is more reliable and more eco-friendly as they provide both primary and secondary treatment , while septic tank only provide a primary treatment , the secondary treatment is happening into the soil around the leach field , which is were the clogging issues happen .
